Friends aired for a decade on NBC before it ended, and fans have wanted the cast to reunite to film at least one more episode. With five members of the cast reuniting over the weekend, the talk of an on-screen reunion has risen to a fever pitch.
Up to this point, the cast and those involved with the series have tried to made it clear that a Friends reunion is not happening. However, that changed recently. Matthew Perry was the only member of the cast not to attend the cast reunion over the weekend, but he has done something no member of the cast has done – he has given fans hope of a reunion.
According to Radio Times, he teased in a recent interview that hour-long episode reuniting Ross and the gang is possible. He said:
“I think we would be open to doing something, some kind of TV special. We’ve talked about it over dinner. It’s a really good group, there isn’t a jerk in the group and that really saved us for 10 years.”
