Fuller House has started production on season two for Netflix, and Candace Cameron Bure spoke with Us Weekly about the upcoming season.
Once again, the actress behind D.J. Tanner Fuller, touched on the possibility of Michelle appearing during season two. The character was played by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen during Full House.
She said the following:
“It would be great if they did, but I think the fans can see, too, that the show is so full already. We would love for them to join, but we have a lot to do even if they don’t.”
As for the men in D.J.’s life, the actress spoke about that too. Romance will still be a big part of her character’s life next season. Candace spoke about that in detail. She said:
“I will say that I love both of these guys. I love them personally and I love their characters, too; they are so fun. But Steve is definitely back. I know he didn’t make headlines, but he will be back. So don’t think that the deal is done as far as D.J. and Matt. D.J. works with Matt at the vet clinic, so that’s a big reason why those two characters will still be involved. The words couldn’t be truer in the script when D.J. was describing the two guys. Matt was new and fresh and it’s exciting to find that new love. And Steve is this snuggly comfort blankie that you never, ever want to leave. So, I don’t know. I love both guys so much. So we will just have to wait and see what the writers come up with. It’s totally in their hands.”
