Fuller House is letting love rule on the second season of the Netflix series. It has already been teased that Stephanie’s love life will have more of a focus next season, and Ashley Liao has been bumped up to a series regular. She is Jackson’s crush.
Now, there are some details about D.J.’s love life revealed. The end of season one had D.J., who is played by Candace Cameron Bure, trying to decide between two men.
TV Line revealed that those two men will move on and have new romances during season two. One of the romances will be with a woman that is very similar to D.J. – her name is even similar.
The news outlet revealed the following:
“First up is C.J., a virtual copy of D.J. “from the way they look to the way they speak to the way they act,” and it should come as no surprise that she’ll be dating Steve. It should also come as no surprise that the similarities will irk D.J., pushing her towards her breaking point. As for Matt, he’ll find “love” in Cristal, a twenty-something hot yoga instructor who often walks between rooms using only her hands. Dating Cristal sounds like an obvious ploy to make D.J. jealous… but will it work?”
It was also reported that an actress will be cast to fill the role of the D.J. lookalike. She will not be played by Candace Cameron Bure.
