Futurama fans have something new to see. A new live action film based on the series is coming out this summer, and a new trailer has been released. Fan-O-Rama was made by fans of the popular FOX animated series created by Matt Groening. Yes, the man behind The Simpsons.
According to Digital Spy, the film will feature characters from the animated series. Check it out below:
At the end of the short trailer, the people behind the project include a statement praising Groening for his work on Futurama. They said that the live action remake is meant as “a sign of our deep appreciation and respect for all that you’ve done, and not as some creepy we’re-outside-your-window-at-3am stalkerish sort of way.”
