What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, The Gifted stars Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Natalie Alyn Lind, Percy Hynes White, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Coby Bell, and Garret Dillahunt. The superhero sci-fi drama centers on Reed and Caitlin Strucker (Moyer and Acker) and their teenaged children, Lauren (Lind) and Andy (White) — a seemingly normal family. When the kids manifest powers associated with the X-gene, the Struckers must go on the run and seek refuge with the mutants Reed once prosecuted.

Telly’s Take
Although it premiered with positive numbers, the digits dipped quickly. The ratings seems to have stabilized now. FOX has a lot of challenges in the ratings department right now and the network needs new shows. So, as a result, I suspect that the execs will renew this series for a second season. I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for free updates on The Gifted cancellation or renewal news.
