Doctor Who and ER vet Alex Kingston is in the upcoming Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life TV show revival movies at Netflix, but it doesn’t sound like she will be in Stars Hollow. Kingston does allow that she plays a “very eccentric character, in a couple of the episodes.” Watch video clips from the convention, below.
During her Florida SuperCon appearance, Kingston said ER and Gilmore Girls both filmed on the Warner Brothers lot, back in the day. She almost slipped and spilled some Alexis Bledel-related beans, but recovered and added that she filmed her Gilmore Girls revival scenes not on the Stars Hollow set, but rather on location, adding, “…which was nice and that’s all I’m going to say.”
Stacey Oristano (Mindy Collette Riggins; Friday Night Lights), who is also in the revival, recently revealed her scene are not set in Stars Hollow, either. Whether she or Kingston will appear together remains to be seen.
