The Gilmore Girls revival is coming to Netflix later this year, and two members of the original Gilmore Girls cast had a mini-reunion on Sunday.
According to People Magazine, Yanic Truesdale shared a photo of himself out with Melissa McCarthy on his Instagram. McCarthy is the only member of the main cast that is not returning for the revival. She had originally stated that she was not asked to return for the revival. However, Amy Sherman-Palladino revealed in an interview that it was McCarthy’s busy schedule that was the issue.
McCarthy is still not joining the cast of the popular series. Truesdale made that clear in the caption of his photo. He said:
“Scotch, great meal and catching up with my old friend @melissamccarthy, can’t ask for more! Dont read anything into it guys.”
