Gilmore Girls is back in production, and there are more details now available for the Netflix revival. TV Line shared new comments made by Kelly Bishop about the return of Emily Gilmore to the series.
Bishop recently revealed that Emily will deal with the loss of her husband on the revival, and now she has revealed a bit more about the timeline of events and what will happen to her character by the end of the revival.
She said:
“So by the time you get to [Episode 4 aka ‘Fall’] a whole year will have passed. And I know from my experience, that the first year [after losing a loved one] is awful. But when you hit that first year you start to emerge from it.”
Bishop hadn’t read the script for the fourth episode at the time of her interview, so she could not reveal more about what’s next for Emily.
