A year minus one week ago, Scott Patterson (Luke Danes) let slip on the Gilmore Girls podcast, “Gilmore Guys,” that fans wouldn’t be crazy to expect a Gilmore Girls TV show revival, perhaps in the form of a movie. Now we know we’re getting four 90 minute offerings in this first run of the revival, and Prophet Patterson thinks there could be even more to come.
As previously reported, production just wrapped a few days ago. The Gilmore Girls TV show sequel movies coming to Netflix, star: Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, Keiko Agena, Patterson, Matt Czuchry, Sean Gunn, Yanic Truesdale, Milo Ventimigla, Melissa McCarthy, Tanc Sade, and more.
During the podcast, Patterson says, “I just think everybody is more grateful. We’re happy to see each other.” Patterson sums up the atmosphere on the revival, thusly: “People are closer now. Friendships are deeper.”
Patterson teases that the Gilmore Girls revival movies end on a cliffhanger of sorts, meaning, “There is room for more. It didn’t end… but maybe it did.” He thinks there is an even chance Gilmore Girls could continue in the future, adding, “I would hope that there’d be more.”
