Ginormous Food TV show on Food Network: canceled or renewed?

Food Network wants a second helping. Recently, the network announced they’ve ordered additional episodes of the TV series Ginormous Food.

The docuseries “features comedian and food fanatic Josh Denny as he travels the country tasting the greatest and biggest dishes, while learning about the amazing stories and people behind them.”

Food Network has ordered 13 additional episodes of Ginormous Food, which is currently in the middle of its first season.

NEW YORK – January 19, 2017 – Midway through the first season, Food Network announced today it has picked up 13 additional episodes of new primetime series, Ginormous Food, starring comedian and food fanatic Josh Denny, as he travels the country tasting the greatest and biggest dishes, while learning about the amazing stories and people behind them.

“The series launched to tremendous response from our viewers, so Josh Denny is packing up his suitcase and hitting the road to sample more audaciously big, mouthwatering dishes that you will have to see to believe,” said Didi O’Hearn, Senior Vice President Programming, Food Network and Cooking Channel.

To date nearly 7.6 million people have tuned into Ginormous Food, with the first two episodes posting gains of +64% and +31% vs. YAGO among core-demo audiences (P25-54) and Millennials (P25-34) respectively.
