What’s This TV Show About?
A Disney Channel coming-of-age story, Girl Meets World is a sequel to Boy Meets World, which ran on ABC, from 1993 to 2000. The sitcom centers on Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga’s (Danielle Fishel) daughter, Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard). The friendship Riley shares with Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) sees both girls through all kinds of new experiences. Together, they’re learning who they are as well as who they want to be. Girl Meets World also stars Peyton Meyers as Lucas Friar, Corey Fogelmanis as Farkle Minuks, and August Maturo as Auggie Matthews.
Girl Meets World has been cancelled so there won’t be a fourth season on Disney Channel. Could the series be revived? Stay tuned.

Telly’s Take
From my perch, I’ve been seeing signs for a while that Girl Meets World season three might also be the final chapter. We have known that the Girl Meets World season three finale would feature a big reunion with scads of Boy Meets World stars. Even from up here, that smelled like a TV series finale. Will efforts to revive the series elsewhere be successful? I will be watching closely.
