It’s a bittersweet farewell for Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. Recently, star Lisa Edelstein spoke with TVInsider about the future of the Bravo TV series.
The scripted comedy-drama just began its third season on January 11th. As reported earlier, Bravo has already renewed the show through a fifth and final season. The cast includes Edelstein, Alanna Ubach, Beau Garrett, Necar Zadegan, Retta, and Paul Adelstein.
In the interview, Edelstein said it’s “bittersweet” knowing the show is going to end:
Bittersweet, of course. But the writers know what story they’re telling—there’s no stretching it out—and nobody has to worry about what’s going to happen next. We can come to work and put our energy into doing our jobs. There’s an ease and maturity; I feel like we’ve really jelled. One weekend, Beau Garrett [who plays free spirit Phoebe] organized a hilarious workout class for the cast and crew. We all got together and did butt exercises!”
