Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce: Season Four Ratings

Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce TV show on Bravo: season 4 ratings (canceled or season 5 renewal?)

The good news is, we have known since 2016 that the Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce TV show shouldn’t be cancelled too soon, because Bravo renewed the show through season five. The bad new is that seasons four and five will be shorter, and there will be no season six. In more bad news, the ratings have dropped off quite a bit over the last couple of years. Will moving it to the summer help boost its Nielsen numbers, or will Bravo end up ending with the fifth season, after all? Stay tuned.

Inspired by the book series by Vicki Iovine, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce stars Lisa Edelstein, Alanna Ubach, Beau Garrett, Necar Zadegan, Retta, and Paul Adelstein. Self-help guru Abby McCarthy (Edelstein) shocked the world when she separated from her husband, and her career took a dive, so she went in a new direction. In season four she and Barbara (Retta) decide to partner on a website called Lady Parts, which targets women their age. While they both want it to succeed, their different management styles create tension.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays.
