And you thought The Goldbergs has already gone full ’80s. Recently, creator Adam F. Goldberg spoke with TVInsider about season four of the ABC series.
Set in the 1980s, the family sitcom follows the crazy antics of a Pennsylvania family. The cast includes Sean Giambrone, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Troy Gentile, Hayley Orrantia, George Segal, and Jeff Garlin.
In the interview, Goldberg said the upcoming season will feature a Breakfast Club homage and a tribute to ’80s action movies:
An upcoming episode is all about ’80s action movies and classic Arnold Schwarzenegger one-liners. It’s crazy that it took us 70 episodes to tackle that. In the future, I’d also love for a talking car to make a cameo. I hope KITT isn’t in the shop!”
Season four of The Goldbergs premieres tonight, September 21st, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
