The Good Fight: Season Three Expected as Multi-Season Deal is Made with Amazon

The Good Fight TV show on CBS: (canceled or renewed?)

What’s next for The Good Fight? Today, CBS announced the show has secured a multi-season streaming deal with Amazon.

A spin-off to The Good Wife, the legal drama follows Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie), the goddaughter of Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski), who becomes enveloped in a major scandal that ruins her reputation and her godmother’s finances. The cast also includes Cush Jumbo, Delroy Lindo, Erica Tazel, Sarah Steele, and Justin Bartha.

Amazon’s new deal with CBS includes international streaming rights for all current and future seasons of The Good Fight, which suggests a third season is very likely. The Prime Video agreement also includes SVOD rights to other CBS series, such as Blue Bloods, The Good Wife, Hawaii Five-0, and NCIS.

Season two of The Good Fight debuts on CBS All Access on March 4th.
