As reported back in March, although Netflix never publicized a series renewal, production has already begun on the fourth season of the Grace and Frankie TV show. Now the subscription streaming service has made the Grace and Frankie season four renewal official and spilled a little casting spoiler, in the doing.
Today, Netflix released the above photo featuring stars Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda, with Lisa Kudrow, who will guest star in the season four. Grace and Frankie was created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris. Kauffman of course, was also one of the creators of Friends.
Lisa Kudrow Joins Grace and Frankie Season Four
While the picture was available on the Netflix press site, the news was not. However, our old friends at Central Perk, or rather, Deadline have the scoop:
Emmy winner Kudrow is set play the manicurist to Fonda’s perpetually martini-drinking Grace.
The guest role in the 13-episode fourth season sees Kudrow’s character Sheree get even closer to her client and under the threatened skin of Tomlin’s usually peace, love and understanding-inclined Frankie. The third-wheel result becomes more than just a point of contention between the beach-house roommates.
We do not yet know how many episodes Kudrow will appear in, or when in the fourth season she’ll show up. When we know, you will, too.
What do you think? Are you a Lisa Kudrow fan? Do you plan to stream her episodes in the fourth season of the Grace and Frankie TV series on Netflix?
