Prime Video has a grand success with The Grand Tour. The Wrap reports the viewership for the new series has far outperformed the streaming service’s top-rated program to date, The Man in the High Castle.
The new docuseries follows former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May as they travel the world in expensive, rare, and exotic cars.
Earlier, we reported The Grand Tour‘s November 18th debut broke records for Amazon. Now, the numbers are out. According to Symphony Advanced Media, the show’s premiere “earned 1.954 million viewers 18-49.” For comparison, The Man in the High Castle (Amazon’s top-rated show until now) earned around 637,000 viewers upon its debut last year.
