Aidan Quinn, who starred in NBC’s controversial drama The Book of Daniel, is returning to television in a recurring role in FOX’s Canterbury’s Law series. He’ll be playing the husband of series star Juliana Margulies (The Sopranos, ER) and replaces Linus Roache (Kidnapped). Show will premiere midseason.

Beautiful People’s Daphne Zuniga and her TV daughter Torrey DeVitto will both be joining the cast of One Tree Hill this Fall. Though they’ll be on the same show, the ladies’ storylines aren’t expected to intermingle.

Twentieth Century Fox TV and FOX have signed Eliza Dushku (Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, and Tru on FOX’s Tru Calling) to a talent deal to star in new projects. Dushku recently starred in a FOX pilot called Nurses but it wasn’t picked up by the network.

Donal Logue, fresh off ABC’s cancelled The Knights of Prosperity, has been booked for a FOX comedy pilot called Hackett. Logue will play a disgraced Yale teacher who finds himself teaching high school in Ohio. The pilot will be directed by Barry Sonnenfeld.

Richard Schiff (The West Wing’s Toby) will pop up next month in the September 20th two-hour season finale of Burn Notice. He’ll be playing the heard but previously unseen intelligence agency operative Philip Cowan.

Veteran actors Ernie Hudson (the warden on Oz) and Phylicia Rashad (The Cosby Show’s Clair) will be guesting on Psych next month. They’ll be playing the parents of Gus (Dule Hill) who have been arrested for murder and need the Psych team’s help. Stay tuned!
