Grey’s Anatomy is getting ready to end season 12 on ABC, and there are some details about this season’s finale now available. Fans should expect to see a very different finale this year.
Last season ended with the characters trying to cope with the death of Derek Shepherd, who was played by Patrick Dempsey. This season, fans will see a return to form with a chaotic season finale that will include a ‘potential disaster’ for the staff of the hospital.
Jesse Williams spoke about the episode with TV Line:
“This finale is outrageous. The stakes are very, very high, particularly for Jackson and April. There’s a lot to be gained and there’s a hell of a lot to lose.”
Even with the disaster, Martin Henderson shared some light on the disastrous spoilers. The season will not end on a sad note it seems. He said:
“There are a lot of positive things that come out of the final episode. There’s a lot of humor and some very funny scenes. It feels like it ends on a really upbeat and optimistic note.”
