A key figure is coming back to Grey’s Anatomy. Deadline reports Krista Vernoff will return as a showrunner for season 14 of the ABC TV show.
Vernoff was a writer and executive producer on the Shonda Rhimes medical drama for the first seven seasons. For the past few years, she has been working as an executive producer on the Showtime series Shameless.
Season 14 of Grey’s Anatomy premieres on ABC on September 28th at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
