Grown-ish has gone back in time. Freeform just released a new season two promo that pays homage to A Different World, TVGuide reports.
A spin-off of Black-ish, Grown-ish centers on Zoey Johnson (Yara Shahidi), as she leaves the home of her parents, Dre and Rainbow (Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross), and heads off to college. The cast also includes Deon Cole, Francia Raisa, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Jordan Buhat, Luka Sabbat, Trevor Jackson, Chris Parnell, and Emily Arlook.
Like Grown-ish, A Different World was a spin-off to The Cosby Show that followed Denise Huxtable (Lisa Bonet) at college. Season two of Grown-ish debuts on January 2nd at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
