Guys with Kids: Big Hit? Quickly Cancelled?

NBC's Guys with Kids sitcomNBC has announced that their new Guys with Kids sitcom will preview on Wednesday, September 12th, and return on the 26th. Do you think that it will be a big hit, a moderate success, or quickly cancelled?

For those who haven’t seen any previews, Guys with Kids follows three thirty-something dads who are doing their best to hold on to their youth — while holding onto their new babies’ hands. Thankfully, Chris (Jesse Bradford of The West Wing), Nick (Zach Cregger from Friends with Benefits) and Gary (Anthony Anderson of Law & Order) have each other as friends to lean on.

Balancing work or staying at home, painfully married or happily divorced, they know that taking care of the little ones while maintaining a social life is a daily challenge. Someone once said it’s much easier to become a father than to actually be one. These three guys discover just how true that is. The new TV series also stars Jamie Lynn Sigler (The Sopranos) and Tempestt Bledsoe (The Cosby Show).

The series is written and executive produced by Charlie Grandy, Jimmy Fallon, and Amy Ozols. Rick Wiener and Kenny Schwartz are also executive producers.

Once the other networks have their shows in place, Guys with Kids will be airing opposite ABC’s Suburgatory, CBS’ Survivor, FOX’s The X Factor, and The CW’s Arrow. NBC has ordered 13 episodes to start.

Here are some previews and interviews to give you a better feel for the show.

What do you think? Does Guys with Kids look appealing? Will you tune in, DVR the show, or skip it altogether?
