10/6/11 UPDATE: This show has now been cancelled.

Episode 01-04: Wednesday, 10/5/11
0.4 in the demo (-33% week-to-week change) with 1.07 million; fifth in the timeslot.
Demo average rank: #10 of 10 TV shows currently on the network.
Season average: 0.5 in the demo with 1.19 million.

Episode 01-03: Wednesday, 9/28/11
Week three bumped up by 50% but that’s not saying much when you consider how low last week sank. This week’s attracted a 0.6 demo rating and 1.37 million. Those are still horrible numbers and it’s surprising that CW hasn’t cancelled this yet.
Season average: 0.5 demo and 1.23 million.

Episode 01-02: Wednesday, 9/21/11
The second installment performed even more poorly than the first, attracting a 0.4 rating in the demo and 1.03 million viewers. Look for it to be cancelled soon, if for no other reason than to give America’s Next Top Model a decent lead-in.
Season average: 0.5 demo rating and 1.16 million.

Episode 01-01: Wednesday, 9/14/11
The first episode was a huge disappointment in the ratings and attracted just a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic and only 1.29 million viewers. H8R was a distant fifth in the timeslot, easily beaten by reality shows and reruns on the other networks.

A week earlier, a rerun of last season’s America’s Next Top Model did similarly in the same timeslot. With terrible numbers like these, it seems like H8R could easily become the first cancellation of the Fall 2011-12 season.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the H8R TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
