Alexis Bledel isn’t leaving Gilead anytime soon. Deadline reports the Handmaid’s Tale star will return as a series regular for season two of the Hulu TV show.
Based on the book by Margaret Atwood, the drama takes place in a dystopian society where women are treated as property. The cast includes Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, Ann Dowd, O-T Fagbenle, Jordana Blake, and Amanda Brugel.
Hulu renewed The Handmaid’s Tale for a second season in May. The new season is expected to debut in 2018.
