On Happyland, the cynical teenage daughter (Bianca Santos) of a career princess (Camille Guaty) at a popular theme park wants to escape the life she’s known. Things get complicated when she falls for the handsome son (Shane Harper) of the park owner. The rest of the cast includes Cameron Moulene, Katherine McNamara, and Ryan Rottman.
The series debuted in late September to very soft ratings and the numbers didn’t get any better. The season ended up averaging a 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 370,000 viewers. Fellow dramedy Awkward averaged a 0.6 in the demo with 1.13 million.
The last installment of Happyland aired on November 18th.
