As expected, Harry Connick Jr. is sticking with daytime. His syndicated talk show, Harry, has been renewed for a second season. Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel, and Jason Kurtz executive produce the series with Connick and his manager, Ann Marie Wilkins.

Although the news is not yet up on the NBC-Universal press site, Variety reports NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution and Fox Television Stations have renewed the Harry TV show for season two. Season one premiered in first-run syndication, back in September of 2016.

Here’s more from Variety:

“I love my show! To continue sharing an hour every day with my audience is a great honor and thrill – can’t wait for season 2,” Connick said in a statement.

“Harry’s” viewership since its September premiere has been respectable, if not spectacular, averaging about 1.3 million viewers for the season to date in morning and early afternoon time slots. The show last week grabbed five Daytime Emmy Award nominations, including a bid for entertainment talk show host for Connick.
