Hawaii Five-0 will air an all-new episode on CBS later tonight, but is the series headed towards an end? Alex O’Loughin is getting ready to leave the series behind. He revealed his plans in a recent interview. The interview promoted tonight’s episode, which will feature the return of Michelle Borth and Christine Lahti to the series. The episode also marks episode 150 of the CBS drama.
O’Loughlin revealed the following about his plans to exit the series after season eight to TV Line:
“[Five-0] is really, really wonderful, but it is an action show, I’m the main guy, and I defy anybody to do what I’ve done for as long I’ve done it and hold out the way I have. Dude, I was a fit, strong, healthy guy when I started the show, and I still am, but you sustain what you sustain. It’s part of the gig.”
