What’s next for Hawaii Five-0? Star Masi Oka recently spoke with Assignment X about the future of the CBS series.
Oka plays coroner Dr. Max Bergman on the police procedural, which was just renewed for a seventh season in March.
In the interview, Oka said Hawaii Five-0 has had a great run so far and he is okay with the series coming to an end whenever it does:
It’s great to be working. Things happen. We’ve had an amazing run. I think six years is a fantastic run. So if there’s a Season 7, a Season 8, fantastic. If Season 6 [would have been] our last season, that’s great, too. In this day and age, to be on the air for more than four seasons, or even more than one season, is a blessing. So we’re very grateful for that. We’re very blessed.
He later added that season seven will be “bigger and better.”
The two-part season six finale of Hawaii Five-0 airs on May 13th.
