Hawaii Five-0: Season Seven Ratings

Airing on CBS on Friday nights, Hawaii Five-0 seems to keep beating the odds. The ratings have been declining for awhile but the series keeps being renewed. Will the numbers start to turn around this year or will they fall lower? Could it be cancelled or will there be an eighth season instead? Stay tuned.

A reimagining of the original Hawaii Five-0 TV show, this police procedural series revolves around an elite state police task force that fights crime in the 50th state. The series stars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park, Chi McBride, Masi Oka, and Jorge Garcia.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. For comparisons: The sixth season of Hawaii Five-0 averaged a 1.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 8.71 million total viewers (live + same day ratings).
