Hawaii Five-0 is losing two core cast members. Deadline reports Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park are leaving the CBS TV show ahead of season eight.
Kim and Park play Chin Ho Kelly and Kono Kalakaua, respectively, on the police procedural reboot. The cast also includes Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Chi McBride, Masi Oka, and Jorge Garcia.
Kim is likely leaving to executive produce his new drama on ABC, The Good Doctor. It’s unclear why Park is departing Hawaii Five-0, but CBS did release a statement thanking the actors. Season eight of Hawaii Five-0 is set to premiere on September 29th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
