“You decided you wanted to serve your country.” PBS has just released new previews for the upcoming series finale of Home Fires.
The UK drama follows the members of the Women’s Institute during World War II. The cast includes Francesca Annis, Daisy Badger, Mark Bazeley, Leanne Best, and Samantha Bond. ITV cancelled the show last year after only two seasons.
As we reported earlier, the series finale will not be the end for Home Fires. The show will continue as a set of novels, with the first part being released this summer.
The series finale of Home Fires debuts on PBS on May 7th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
