Homeland is getting ready for its sixth season on Showtime, and Alex Gansa teased the return of the series to U.S. soil at an event that took place on Sunday.
According to Deadline, Gansa confirmed that the action for season six of the series, which stars Claire Danes, will take place in the United States. It was previously reported by TV Series Finale that at least part of the upcoming season would take place in New York.
Gansa said that, “Homeland will take place on American soil for the first time since Season 3.” He did not reveal anything about the plot of the season, but he did tease that season six will tackle privacy versus security.
