Inside Comedy: Showtime Series Returns in February

season two of Inside ComedyShowtime has let us know that season two of Inside Comedy will kick off on Monday, February 11th. Comics to be profiled include Drew Carey, Robert Klein, Steve Martin, Martin Mull, and Robert Schimmel.

There are 10 episodes once again and they are expected to run through April 15th.

Steve Martin and Drew Carey, Among Others, Added To the Lineup

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 05, 2012) – SHOWTIME will premiere season two of its critically-acclaimed documentary series INSIDE COMEDY on Monday, February 11th at 11 P.M. ET/PT. The ten, half-hour episodes from comedy forces David Steinberg and Steve Carell, will expand on last year’s legendary lineup by adding Drew Carey, Robert Klein, Steve Martin, Martin Mull and Robert Schimmel to the star-studded second season.

INSIDE COMEDY offers viewers a definitive look inside the career-defining moments and never-before-heard, personal anecdotes from the créme de la créme of the comedy world spanning several generations, with Steinberg continuing as host. Season two will also include previously announced entertainers Judd Apatow, Carol Burnett, Jim Carrey, Louis C.K., Susie Essman, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Bill Maher, Mike Myers, Bob Newhart, Ben Stiller, Lily Tomlin, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Betty White, among others.

Carell and Steinberg will continue to serve as executive producers alongside Vance DeGeneres and Charlie Hartsock for Carousel Productions, and Alan Zweibel is consulting producer.
