What’s This TV Show About?

Airing on The CW television network, iZombie stars Rose McIver as zombie/medical examiner Liv Moore, who retains some memories from each brain she eats. The cast also includes Malcolm Goodwin, Rahul Kohli, Robert Buckley, David Anders, and Aly Michalka. In season three, Liv now knows there are more zombies in Seattle than she once thought. A private military contractor is building up a zombie army, to prepare for the day when humans realize the undead walk the earth. This season will find Liv eating the brains of a dominatrix, a “Jackass” style stunt man, an office gossip, a pre-school teacher, a conspiracy theorist, a dungeon master, and more, and taking on their traits.
 

Season Three Ratings

The third season of iZombie is averaging a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 870,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 41% and down by 35%, respectively. Learn how iZombie stacks up against the other CW TV shows.
 

 

Telly’s Take

Creator Rob Thomas already has plans for a fourth season of his iZombie TV show, but will the supernatural procedural make it past its third season? The ratings are way down but The CW isn’t as much of a slave to the ratings as the other networks. The series has survived this long so I suspect it will be renewed for season four.
