TV show description:
A Cinemax drama series, Jett is created, written, directed, and produced by Sebastian Guttierrez. Daisy “Jett” Kowalski (Gugino) is a world-class thief who is fresh out of prison.
Back in the regular world, Jett hopes to go straight but finds herself forced back into what she does best, thanks to a variety of morally ambivalent, dangerous and eccentric criminals. Determined to exploit Jett’s skills for their own gain, they range from newbie femme fatales to morally-compromised law enforcers.
Charlie Baudelaire (Esposito) is a powerful crime lord who offers Jett one last task — to steal a ring from Miljan Bestic (Greg Bryk), an Eastern European crime overlord living in Cuba. This job reunites her with a former flame. Unfortunately, it also sets off a chain reaction of unexpected events that endangers everyone Jett cares for.
Episode #9 — Miljan Bestic
Before a fateful meeting with Bestic (Greg Bryk), Jett (Carla Gugino) sets in motion a plan to be free of him for good. When the two come face-to-face, Bestic reveals the origins of his feud with Charlie (Giancarlo Esposito). As the situation becomes increasingly perilous, Jett realizes she’s in danger of losing the very thing she holds most dear.
First aired: August 9, 2019.
