Jimmy Kimmel Live: Renewed Through January 2017

Once David Letterman and Craig Ferguson leave late-night, Jimmy Kimmel will be the longest-running network host still in late-night. ABC wants to keep him there and has reportedly renewed his contract for two more years, keeping him on the air through January 2017.

Jimmy Kimmel Live debuted in January 2003. It premiered at 12:30am, following Nightline. In 2012, ABC switched their timeslots, putting Jimmy Kimmel Live opposite the Tonight Show and the Late Show. The series has been performing well in the new timeslot and its audience has been building.
