Has The Jonathan Ross Show been cancelled? According to Digital Spy, the ITV talk show will return for an 11th and 12th season.
Hosted by Jonathan Ross, the UK chat show began in 2011 after Ross’ BBC show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, ended in 2010.
Earlier this week, The Mirror reported The Jonathan Ross Show would be ending after its next season, saying Ross will be spending most of 2017 in the United States. Later, a spokesperson for Ross told Digital Spy the report was inaccurate. It’s true that Ross will be taking a break from the chat show, but only for next winter/spring. After his hiatus in the U.S., he will return for a 12th season in the fall of 2017.
From Ross’ spokesperson:
Jonathan is extending his hiatus into the early part of next year to travel to the US. The chat show will return in the autumn of 2017.”
Season 11 of The Jonathan Ross Show premieres this fall on ITV.
