Kidding: Season One Ratings

Kidding TV show on Showtime: season 1 ratings (canceled or renewed season 2?)

Jim Carrey hasn’t had a regular TV gig since In Living Color. Now, he’s making his small screen return on Showtime, in his new Kidding TV show. With Carrey’s vast talent and marquee name, will a large enough audience flock to his new TV series to justify future installments? Will Kidding be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned. **Status update below.

A Showtime comedy-drama, Kidding stars Carrey, Catherine Keener, Judy Greer, Frank Langella, Cole Allen, Juliet Morris, Bernard White, Juliocesar Chavez, Julitta Scheel, Coda Boesel, Mary Faber, Dan Garza, and Ginger Gonzaga. The story centers on Jeff Piccirillo (Carrey) aka Mr. Pickles, the beloved host of the children’s television show, Mr. Pickles’ Puppet Hour. As his family starts to break down, Jeff finds no solace in the stories and puppets he has always used to help him navigate stormy seas. Soon, his own father and executive producer, Seb (Langella) starts to make plans for making the show without him — while Jeff slides into insanity.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
