ABC is out to Kill Jill. According to Deadline, the network is developing a half-hour comedy with Patricia Heaton.
Heaton currently stars on the ABC sitcom The Middle.
Written by Laura Solon, Kill Jill “centers on an idealistic graduate who’s desperate to escape her small hometown. She takes a job with a glamorous West Coast businesswoman who appears to have it all — including a plot against her life.”
Heaton is set to executive produce the series alongside Solon, David Hunt, and Rebecca Stay of Warner Bros. TV.
