Last Call with Carson Daly: Uncertain Future Once Again

Once again, it’s unclear what the futute holds for NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly. According to TV Guide, NBC execs are currently deciding if the late night program will continue, be cancelled, or receive an overhaul.

While Daly is getting ready to host the fifth cycle of The Voice, staffmembers of Last Call have reportedly been told not to report to work. Typically, production on the new 13th season would have already started by now.

Last Call may come to an end, continue with a new host, and/or get a revamp but Daly’s future with the network seems secure thanks to the success of The Voice. While judges have come and gone, Daly has remained a constant. He’s also been the host of NBC’s New Year’s Eve coverage since 2003.
