TNT is headed back out to sea. This week, it was announced season four of The Last Ship will debut in August.
The action drama follows the crew of the USS Nathan James as they try to find a cure for a deadly virus that has wiped out most of the world’s population. The cast includes Eric Dane, Bridget Regan, Adam Baldwin, Travis Van Winkle, Marissa Neitling, Jocko Sims, Charles Parnell, Christina Elmore, Bren Foster, and Kevin Michael Martin.
As we reported earlier, production on season five of The Last Ship has been delayed. However, the hiatus will not affect season four, which has already been filmed. The new season premieres on TNT on August 20th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
