Check out the new season one key art poster (above) and teaser (below), for the new Liar TV show. A psychological thriller from creators Harry Williams and Jack Williams, Liar premieres on Sundance TV on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10:00pm ET/PT.

Liar stars Joanne Froggatt, Ioan Gruffudd, Zoë Tapper, Warren Brown, Shelley Conn, Richie Campbell, Jamie Flatters, Danny Webb, Chu Omambala, and Akbar Kurtha. The six-part SundanceTV series is from Two Brothers Pictures and is co-produced with ITV and All3 Media.

SUNDANCE TV RELEASES BRAND NEW TEASERS AND KEY ART FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER “LIAR,” PREMIERING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 AT 10/9C

Starring Joanne Froggatt (“Downton Abbey”), Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four) and Created by Brothers Harry and Jack Williams (“The Missing” and “Fleabag”)

NEW YORK, NY – August 8, 2017 – SundanceTV today released the first teasers and brand new key art for their taut psychological thriller “Liar,” which will premiere Wednesday, September 27th at 10p/9c. The six-part series, which was created, written and executive produced by BAFTA and Golden Globe® nominated producers and screenwriters Harry and Jack Williams’ of Two Brothers Pictures (“The Missing ,” “Fleabag”) and co-produced with ITV and All3 Media, stars Golden Globe winner Joanne Froggatt (“Downton Abbey”) and BAFTA’s Sian Phillips Award recipient Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four).

“Liar” introduces Laura Nielson (Joanne Froggatt) a bright and dedicated teacher, and Andrew Earlham (Ioan Gruffudd), a renowned surgeon whose son is a student at Laura’s school. After a seemingly innocent date, a series of volatile accusations capsize their lives. Secrets and lies slowly unravel in a tense and gripping series where everyone is lying in some way until the truth ultimately reveals itself.

Directors include executive producer James Strong (“Broadchurch,” “The Great Train Robbery,” “11-22-63”) and Sam Donovan (“Humans,” “The Living and the Dead,” “Utopia”). Eliza Mellor (“The Living and the Dead,” “Poldark,” “Death Comes to Pemberley”) produces the series. Filming took place in London and Kent, UK.
