Little Big Shots: Season Three Ratings

Little Big Shots TV show on NBC: season 3 ratings (cancel renew season 4?)

Although the Little Big Shots TV show on NBC saw a significant drop in the ratings last year, it still was still one of the network’s better performing unscripted TV series. Can Steve Harvey and a passel pint-sized prodigies woo back some of the audience in the third season? Will Little Big Shots be cancelled or renewed for season four? Stay tuned. **Status update below.

A children’s talent show, Little Big Shots, features Harvey having light-hearted chats with gifted little ones, who exhibit a wide range of talents. NBC says they are “the world’s most talented and extraordinary kids.” Season three acts include a soap bubble artist, pint-sized aerialists, a golf prodigy, and the world’s strongest kid. Also featured are young experts in astronomy, mathematics, and archaeology. There are also musically gifted children, performing everything from pop to opera and country to classical, and on instruments that include the ukulele, drums, piano, more.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

12/13 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.

For comparisons: The second season of Little Big Shots on NBC averaged a 1.39 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 8.693 million total viewers (live + same day ratings).

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
