What’s This TV Show About?

Streaming on the Netflix paid subscription platform, Longmire stars Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Cassidy Freeman, Adam Bartley, and A Martinez. Based on the Craig Johnson mystery novel series, the drama centers on Absaorka County, Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire (Taylor).
 

 

Telly’s Take

Fans don’t have to spend season six wondering whether Netflix will cancel or renew Longmire for season seven. Last November, the streaming service announced it was renewed for a sixth and final season. Longmire fans have had a long time to prepare themselves for the end of this contemporary western crime thriller. It originally ran for three seasons on A&E. When the cable network cancelled Longmire, Netflix rode in for the rescue. At least this time, the writing team has had ample time to craft a suitable ending. I’ll still keep my eye out for news related to Longmire, so subscribe for free updates.
