The Devil is coming to California. Deadline reports season three of Lucifer will shoot in Los Angeles.
Based on the DC Comics character, the drama follows Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), who leaves his throne in Hell to live in the City of Angels. The cast also includes Lauren German, D.B. Woodside, Tricia Helfer, Rachael Harris, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez. FOX renewed the series for a third season in February.
While Lucifer shot its pilot in L.A., the first two seasons were produced in Vancouver. Now, Deadline reports the California Film Commission is expected to offer the show a tax credit to re-locate production to Los Angeles. The series’ production company, Warner Bros. Television, has not confirmed the news.
