Made in Jersey: Cancelled, Dropped After Two Episodes

Made in Jersey TV show cancelledIt looks like we have the first cancellation of the season. CBS is pulling Made in Jersey from the schedule effective immediately, after airing just two episodes.

Made in Jersey follows a young lawyer (Janet Montgomery) from New Jersey who uses her street smarts to make waves at an upscale New York law firm. The show also features the talents of Kyle MacLachlan, Felix Solis, Stephanie March, Toni Trucks, Donna Murphy, Erin Cummings, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Drew Beasley, and Alexandra Socha.

The first episode drew a disappointing 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 7.82 million viewers, lower numbers than last season’s A Gifted Man ever hit. Last Friday’s installment dropped 27% in the demo to a 0.8 rating with 6.78 million.

These terrible numbers have prompted the network to pull Made in Jersey from the schedule. CSI: NY will fill its timeslot effective immediately. For the next three weeks, CBS will air NCIS and Hawaii Five-0 reruns at 8pm. Then, on November 2nd, the fourth season of Undercover Boss will take over.

There’s no word on when or if CBS will run the remaining episodes of Made in Jersey. The network’s previous ratings disappointment, the 3 reality series, was also pulled after two episodes and the network released the remaining episodes online.

Here’s the press release from CBS that highlights the schedule changes:
