On the Marry Me sitcom, easy-going Jake (Ken Marino) and high-strung Annie (Casey Wilson) have been together for six years. They’re ready to be married but their road to the altar is anything but smooth. The rest of the cast includes Sarah Wright Olsen, John Gemberling, Tymberlee Hill, and Tim Meadows.
On October 14th, Marry Me debuted to a 2.3 rating with 7.54 million viewers. It was a positive start for the sitcom, likely due in part to airing after NBC’s biggest series, The Voice. The ratings have been falling ever since however. Last night’s episode hit a new low with a 1.3 demo rating and 4.54 million.
It is however NBC’s most successful new comedy. The other two — A to Z and Bad Judge — won’t continue past their initial 13 episode orders so they’ve already been essentially cancelled.
