Marvel’s Agent Carter: Cancelled by ABC; No Season Three

Agent-Carter

It seems Agent Carter is retiring. According to TVLine, ABC has cancelled Marvel’s Agent Carter after two seasons.

Set in post-World War II New York and Los Angeles, the Marvel series starred Hayley Atwell, James D’Arcy, Enver Gjokaj, Chad Michael Murray, Wynn Everett, and Reggie Austin.

Though a favorite of fans, the drama’s ratings dropped significantly in season two, earning an average of .79 in the 18-49 demo and only 2.681 million viewers. Comparatively, season one received nearly double that, with an average of 1.51 in the 18-49 demo and a total of 5.02 million viewers.

Additionally, star Atwell has moved on to another ABC drama titled Conviction, which the network recently picked up to series.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Marvel’s Agent Carter? Do you think it should’ve been renewed?
