On Marvel’s Agent Carter, sexy and smart Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) performs administrative work at the Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) as men return home from World War II. In her spare time, she goes on secret missions. The rest of the cast includes James D’Arcy, Chad Michael Murray, Enver Gjokaj, and Shea Whigham.
Used to fill the Agents of SHIELD timeslot while that show was on winter hiatus, Agent Carter ended up performing almost as well in the ratings as SHIELD. It averaged a 1.51 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.02 million viewers, a middle of the road performance when compared to the rest of the network’s shows this season.
