Netflix is taking Marvel’s Daredevil off the streets. Deadline reports the streaming service has cancelled the TV show after three seasons.
The superhero drama stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer who moonlights as the masked vigilante Daredevil. The cast also includes Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Toby Leonard Moore, Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Bob Gunton.
Although Netflix has cancelled the Daredevil series, Marvel says the character will appear in future “adventures.” In fact, the official Daredevil Twitter page posted a response to the cancellation that hints at a future for the masked hero:
